Sincerely speaking, I am seriously disturbed about the growth of Okbooks. No doubt, Okbooks is a very new online publishing company in Nigeria, but I just want it to grow overnight (maybe, impossible.) I can't just wait any longer to have hard copies of my books at hand. Most people I have contacted to purchase my books prefer hard copies to ebooks.
Hardly would you convince most Nigerians to download your books. Most of them are still wallowing in analog, instead of embracing digital life.
Network failure is another obstacle. Sometimes when you want to sell a copy of your book, it would become difficult, do to network failure.
Moreover, not all android phones can download Okbooks ebooks. I have missed so many paperback readers who were eager to purchase, but were not interested in soft copies.
I pray that Okadabooks will offer authors 'print on demand' services come January, 2018.
